Manufactured by hand right next to the famous Formula 1 Racetrack "Le Castellet" in the south of France. Since 1987 the company has been manufacturing composite products for the aerospace and nautical industries.

HELMETS AT THE FOREFRONT OF INNOVATION

NACA® helmets are made with the same technology as the aeronautic and F1 car bodies: a sandwich of carbon and aramid with honeycomb Nomex core for an optimal performance-to-weight ratio. It is so complex to make a helmet with this that the implementation is patented.

SAFETY FIRST
The fabrics used for the production of the helmet are currently the most efficient in terms of safety: prepreg carbon fibers are woven in a specific way combined with a Nomex honeycomb structure allow impact energy absorption from the inside, offering a very high level of safety.
The comfort that comes from the reduced volume and the very lightweight of NACA® helmets improves the field of vision thanks to a visor closer to the face and better penetration into the air.

AERODYNAMIC
A shape designed thanks to extensive wind-tunnel tests for optimal air penetration resulting in a 90's look combined with 21st-century aerodynamic performances.
The design reduces excessive lift forces on the helmet which can cause considerable neck strain on the rider.
The backside of the helmet is flat to reduce turbulences, dramatically reducing buffeting and thus blurred vision for the rider at high speeds.
The front ventilation of the helmet is a NACA® air intake in order to have the best performance with the least possible resistance.

VERY LIGHT
At 980g the Castellet is so light that you will ride further and almost forget that you wear a helmet.

COLORS AND OPTIONS
This Castellet is glossy carbon on the upper part and red glossy on the lower part. We can get any basic color. If you want to match your bike, please send us a picture and/or details of what you would like.

With our experience, the best way to make sure about sizing is to try a common Biltwell Helmet: get your Biltwell helmet size and you need one size up for a NACA. If you are in-between size, we recommend taking the size up.
